WOW. 14 years ago tomorrow I became a mother for the first time. What a humbling and overwhelming task then. I remember feeling so clueless. Shelby has been such a great daughter. She is so happy, delightful, smart and a great standard bearer. She amazes me every day of her life. She has been alert and paying attention since the day she arrived. Her spirit and happy joy has been refreshing. I am glad to have her as my oldest. She is such a great person. Any way I could go on and on and on..... I have been blessed to be a mother. What a satisfying and wonderful calling. Everyday I am a mother has been a blessing. Though I am still learning, I appreciate her patience with me and her constant encouragement for me to be better. LOVE THAT GIRL! Happy Birthday Princess!
